This three pence coin from Ireland was in circulation between 1928 and 1968. This vintage Irish coin is approximately 16 mm (about the size of a dime). It features a Gaelic harp alongside the text "Eire" (Ireland) and date of minting on the front and a rabbit on the back.

Featuring a hare in mid-sprint, this elegant design symbolised agility, freedom, and resilience, qualities deeply ingrained in the Irish spirit. As time moved on and Ireland transitioned to decimal currency in 1971, these beautiful coins disappeared from circulation, making them a rare and nostalgic treasure today.

Designed with an engraved, gold border including engravings of Ogham markings, an ancient writing system consisting of lines and notches carved onto stone.
